The Peterpans Travel brand has relaunched, supported by new TravelDesk features
2023 has started with a bang for Australian Adventure Group Technology (AAGT). In the first weeks of the year, our team has been busily connecting with Travel Agents and Tour Operators to welcome them to the reinvigorated world-class tech platforms WebsiteTravel, TravelDesk and OperatorHub.
The response to the technology’s re-entry into the marketplace has been extremely positive, and a raft of new features and product developments have been met with enthusiasm.
Over the coming months we look forward to profiling some of the excellent agents and operators working with us and leveraging our improved technologies.
Today, we are excited to announce that the Australian Adventure Group has relaunched the Peterpans Adventure Travel brand and is putting TravelDesk through its paces with high volumes of enquiry and bookings on everything from Fraser Island, Whitsundays, Northern Territory to New Zealand, Fiji and beyond.
We asked Emma Manning (Brand Manager) about the relaunch and which of the new TravelDesk features her team finds the most beneficial.
“The digital relaunch of the iconic Peterpans Travel brand has been overwhelmingly successful. With the sharp increase in international youth arrivals towards the end of 2022, we have seen a huge appetite return in the youth travel market for quality adventure travel experiences. We are pumped to be back doing what we do best… connecting travellers with those operators.
It’s great to be utilising TD (TravelDesk) – a system we know and love. With the organic shift to digital sales, such pent-up demand and volume of enquiry, we’ve been looking for efficiency in quoting our customers online and taking payments easily. We have loved the new feature that enables us to email quotes directly from TravelDesk, and that customers can make payments via secure payment links instantly. This workflow significantly improves how the system works, saving us time and delivering our customers a better user experience.”
With the Peterpans Travel brand up and running, we’re looking forward to bringing even more operators back onto the new platform to satisfy swelling demand.
